I read something lovely the other day which goes a little like this:

 

The things we make ourselves are so much more valuable than a purchased item.  

It doesn’t have to be perfect.  

It’s bespoke.

Handmade items are the ultimate luxury.

Every little thing we make, recycle or repurpose and don’t buy, improves our world.
